The manuals covers the three important areas of computing:
  1. The Computing Fundamentals section covers basic information about computers and operating systems. It includes hardware concepts, software concepts, and use of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
  2. The Key Applications section covers word processing, spreadsheet and presentation concepts and skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  3. The Living Online section covers network and Internet concepts, use of e-mail through Microsoft Outlook and use of the Internet with an emphasis on Microsoft Internet Explorer.
