Twitter and more

It's worth keeping an eye on @MSFTIA @microsofteduk and @MSLearning to keep up to date with Microsoft training and certification. Don't forget the Microsoft Virtual Academy at https://mva.microsoft.com and a stack of video clips on YouTube at  https://www.youtube.com/user/Microsoft.

These are all great sources of additional information.

We haven't tried this ourselves but thought it worth a mention. It might fit in with the Microosoft Certified Educator certificate.

"Skills" overtaking "Subjects"

I was interested to read the account of changes to the  foucus for education in Finland. It seems to fit well with the links between vendor certifications and mainstream vocational and academic curriculum. It's on the BBC web site -  Skills or Subjects     At least it will be a good discussion point!
